Marathon running...at 78

Yes, there was. Fauja Singh completed his last competitive race in February in Hong Kong earlier this year; see this BBC news clip. My husband is still competing in ultra running races in his sixties.

Isn't there an Indian man still running marathons at 100?

I am really annoyed - my excuse up to now for not doing anything energetic has been my AGE - this totally undermines me

That is amazing and will inspire me with one new hip to take up running again..and also to support Diana when she runs her next marathon.

A remarkable and courageous woman but she still can't persuade me to run any sort of distance let alone a marathon.
