Toothpaste? I have forgotten which!

Having had samples of toothpaste from the dentist and tried them recently, I've forgotten what kind I had before!

It was BLUE gel, either OralB or Sensodyne, NOT spearmint (hate that) but minty - and every time I go to a toothpaste section there are so many kinds that I can't identify it.......

What was it? Can anyone tell me?

I got some too Alie and mine was OralB. Small white tube with blue writing and blue gel which tasted of mouth wash.

Dont bother with the Corsydole sort its vile.

AlieOxon Mon 22-Sep-14 14:53:36

But which kind of OralB, Gagagran? There are always at least six kinds!

Gagagran Mon 22-Sep-14 15:25:13

Just checked my holiday wash bag Alie and the ones I got were OralB
Pro-expert. Might not be what you had of course but probably dentists were giving them out as a promotion so maybe they were.

Why not give your dentist a ring and ask them which ones they've had?

Ana Mon 22-Sep-14 16:25:11

Do you mean the toothpaste you were using before you tried all the free samples, Alie?

That's how I read your post - but I can't help because I don't use blue toothpaste.

AlieOxon Mon 22-Sep-14 16:26:44

No, the samples were different from what I had before, the blue gel.
But maybe the dentist could identify it.

....I didn't like them much, but it was free toothpaste!
One of them smelled like Germolene.....

But if you didn't like it, why do you want some more? Is it because the dentist recommended it? I don't think Sensodyne comes in blue.

AlieOxon Mon 22-Sep-14 19:41:17

I want what I had before I got the samples!
But I threw away the empty.

I will ask the dentist...

Ana Mon 22-Sep-14 19:50:52

That's what I was asking!!! confused

Ok might it have been Colgate Blue Fresh Gel ?

You could search for this on Google images and see if you recognise the box.

But not to be confused with Colgate Blue Minty Gel - as you don't like minty.

Ana Mon 22-Sep-14 20:05:41

I thought it was spearmint Alie didn't like...!

This is all getting very confusing - and there are so many blue gel toothpastes on the market. You'll just have to try them all, Alie grin

Starling Mon 22-Sep-14 20:34:42

Oh sorry you are right Ana. So it could still be either of the blue Colgates.

Yes I think we can't solve the mystery and Alie will have to try a different one each month!

Thwarted. Still it's been nicer than the poo thread.

AlieOxon Mon 22-Sep-14 20:51:05

I like mint, but not spearmint. Awkward?
I did look online and found three possibles, one Colgate.....will try them in turn - I can always pass them on to the family!
Thanks anyway.
Toothpaste HAS to be nicer than poo.

Does no one actually put any real effort into reading posts properly? hmm

Yes alright Ana! I know you did! wink

jinglbellsfrocks Tue 23-Sep-14 09:44:25

There is a blueish gel in the Sensodyne range.

goldengirl Tue 23-Sep-14 17:20:41

You could try pink for a change and go for Euthymol

Probably Oral B clean mint - my dentist gave it to me - all the packets look the same and I bought the wrong one twice ! Complained to Proctor and Gamle, that all the packets looked teh same, and they sent me £5 voucher !

Talking of toothpaste - on one of the threads someone recommended Steradent to clean the lime scale off the loo. Do you think the tablet needs to be dissolved and then slushed around the basin ? hmm

AlieOxon Fri 26-Sep-14 14:40:06

(Please don't anyone try to clean the loo with tooth paste......!)

So far I've bought two kinds and not found the one I had. Most annoying.
