What a silly thing to do, kitty!

I was in the kitchen making a tagine when I thought I'd put the television on to watch 'Bargain Hunt' or 'Escape to the Country' which is what I often do on Sunday afternoon.

I was pleasantly surprised to see a repeat of the VE Day celebrations and decided, as the music was so lovely, that I would leave it on. I really enjoyed Blue, Pixie Lott etc.

What I hadn't accounted for was Jane Horrocks! To be followed by Martin Shaw! It had me in floods of tears, AGAIN! sad

We had a tagine today, as well! Is it a Leicestershire thing?! x

We watched it as well, kitty because we were out when it was shown on VE day.

I can understand your tears. I was dabbing my eyes quite a few times.

Alexander Armstrong has such a lovely baritone voice. His singing is effortless and pitch perfect. I wish we could hear more of it.

He went to Trinity College Cambridge on a choral scholarship merlot so will have had his voice properly trained - and doesn't it show? I agree he has a lovely voice.
