The only time ours are used is every Friday night when OH comes home from the pub.

bikergran and Maggie that is how my parents went on honeymoon from Scotland to Blackpool, by tandem and my father apparently kept accusing my mother of not peddling.

My in laws in their youth went to Wales on a motorbike with MIL riding pillion.

MIL fell off at some point and FIL didn't realise she'd gone for several more miles.

She wasn't hurt thank goodness, but of course he never lived it down.
