Grey but dry here in Sussex where we are helping DS look after the GC for the weekend whilst their mum has a Girls' Weekend.

Should be a fun but tiring day.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Dull, dry but fresh in South Yorkshire this morning. DS is coming down to lunch and to go to football with his father. He tells me he is no longer eating bread or potatoes so I have had to hurriedly change the menu. Fussy kids, eh? Have a good day folks.

A drop in temperature in Stockport but not bad. The hot weather didn't suit me at all.
We're we all born too soon? What are girls weekends all about? Just jealous of course but I would love a grans weekend ?

Very overcast and humid in north Norfolk. I think its the reason my spine, from neck to bottom has seized up. Hopefully when this fresh dry weather gets here all will be well again.

DD1 is doing the Tough Mudder challenge today and DGD1 is doing her first Mini Mudder. Plenty of mud now anyway! think they're balmy.

DS is dropping DGdog round for the weekend as they're off to the other parents to a family party (no dogs). DH will have to walk him!

A lovely dry, bright and sunny start her in north Wiltshire. DH and DD off to Wales for the week but I'm staying put because too many health-problems with close family.
I've every intention of running away once things settle down!

Good morning from rainy Colchester. It finally arrived here at noon yesterday. Not a real downpour though and now it's just drizzle.
DS is out for the day, so DH and I are taking a drive to darkest Norfolk for a bit of ancestor hunting and a pub lunch!

It's overcast and drizzly in North Leicestershire.

I've had a nice lie in and am feeling much more human so am going to attempt a small Sainsbury's shop, which will be the first time I've been out since last weekend. I wonder if much has changed!

Playing bowls this p.m. think perhaps I might ache all over tomorrow, as I have been so inactive whilst it has been so hot, we shall see. Take it easy Kitty. A grans weekend sounds like a good idea Ann, but would we be able to stand the pace? Enjoy your days.

Good morning everyone. It's a beautiful morning here in Northern Ireland. I've just had my breakfast on the patio opening my birthday cards. A really beautiful autumnal feel to the day. Off shopping soon and then dinner with DH, DS and DiL to look forward too. I'm very smiley this morning. ?

It's a sunny but very cool morning in the Tyne Valley. The car said 6°c on the way home from work at 08:00. I've put the heating on to warm the house through for a couple of hours. Son coming for lunch, I've got lamb for a curry which I'm making from scratch.
