Jackie74 good on you. I think your eyes are pretty. There seem to be a lot of judgmental grans on this site.

I am what I am ....and have yet to see any older person look better for plastic surgery (or young people either) I agree with the poster that said let the surgeons do the work on people who really need it (medically) ...

Never had anything done and never would, unless I had an accident then would consider it, I like being me! Each to their own. If you aren’t content with your looks then go for it, if it makes you feel better, I’ve noticed though some over do it have line free faces, but their necks really show their ages which sort of defeats the object,

Twiceasnice upper eyelids can be corrcted under local anasthaetic too, not expensive as under general, safer too
I will be having my droopy lid under local, but private clinics do it too,painless

I would love to have an upper eye lift as have droopy eye lids all my life as genetic, all my fathers side of the family have them. I wear eye shadow but don't both with mascara as it gets smudged off. However I have a real fear of general anaesthetic so doubt I will ever get round to it

* JustALaugh* i dont think there is anything wrong in trying to look and feel better,i know some people dont care what others think about them, but i would do it for myself, not for what anyone else thinks about me
I cant bear to look at myself sometimes, and the older you get,the quicker you seem to age
When you look better i think you feel more cheereful and happy in yourself,and more confident
I hope you get whatever you want done eventually
Also some places do these ops under local anasthaetic now, so is cheaper and no risk from anasthaetic

U had my teeth whitened a year ago. Nothing drastic like Joey Essex or the likes of him! I had them done a couple of shades lighter. Enough for people to know my teeth look better, but without them realising why.

valeriej43....I intend having my Marionette lines done again when they need doing. If I was rich, I'd have a tummy tuck and a mini facelift.

My granddaughter (7 next week) just asked me what these lines are on my chest. I thought she meant my cleavage, but she means my wrinkly upper chest. I didn't realise they were so bad. I'll need to start covering up a bit!

I have never yet seen anyone who is improved by cosmetic surgery and most look terrible. I particularly hate the trout pout look people get from lip fillers.

I don’t see any good reason to be ashamed of looking older as you get older. If I had some huge blemish, or an exceptionally ugly nose, I may have considered having surgery, but I don’t mind just looking older. Anyone who values me according to how many lines and facial faults I develop is not worth bothering about.

JustALaugh were you wanting anything in particular doing? as said earlier,eyes make a big difference,so does the neck, both very ageing

I went yo see couple of surgeons and asked friends advice etc. I was going on a Mediterranean holiday and wanted a firmer bust.
I was eventually talked out of it prior to holiday and glad I did.
But have know friends who have had things done over the years. Not all have been for better.
I will add all were for own reasons and not medical.
The other sublime changes are teeth capping and bleaching. Many I see look more false than false teeth

Nope. And the only procedure I'd even consider is breast reduction.

I've had a couple of operations on my eyes (as a baby and in my thirties) to try to straighten my squint. Wouldn't bother again, didn't make any difference and whatever the doctors say beforehand, it hurts.

Yes i had eyebags removed about 20 years ago, made a huge difference,as i had had them from being very yoing, also having fillers done on moday for mouth wrinkles
I am having a droopty upper lid done on the NHS later this year, just waiting to find out when, as it is affecting my vision
I actually had to see an eye consultant to test for glaucoma, and he asked about my droopy eye,i said i was thinking of getting it lifted,he told me not to pay for it as i could have it done there on the NHS
If it makes you feel better go for it, you wont be disappointed,I was back to wearing makeup after 2 weeks, and although a bit of bruising no pain at all
The surgeon was an NHS one, just check on the website for plastic surgeons, and make sure they are well qualified

Yes ,I too had my very droopy eyelids fixed. Threw caution to the winds and had my droopy chins done simultaneously.
That’s about ten years ago. Not one pang of regret. I feel I look better, even now. Very happy with the work. Kept it very secret and two old friends were suspicious, that’s all.

I'm very fair skinned and my eyebrows were practically no existent. Got them tattooed on last year at age of 65. Best thing I ever did. I researched the ins and outs first and have lovely light brown brows now that don't wash of. Read reviews of salons first

Would love to have all sorts of bits and bobs done but am too much of a coward. Well done to those who have taken the plunge and are enjoying the results.
