A late Good Morning from me but just want to say it is a beautiful day here in Stockport, I have just had my coffee outside in lovely sun.
Off to the hospital soon to sit by my H's bed again.
He does not know me now but I can chat to him and manage to get some thickened liquid down him.
Very sad but an inevitable part of life.

Late start today, journey yesterday was long due to congestion in Cambridge and diversion in Durham plus sitting up talking to my brother til about 2am. Will get down to Druridge bay this afternoon, my brother’s dog’s eyes are following me everywhere; he knows the car goes to the beach. Have a good day

Hi all bit of a grey start to the day here today and hazy too. Glad i cut the lawn yesterday and worked in the lovely sunshine in the garden. Planning on getting my summer clothes out of storage, wishful thinking...... Then i want to work in the garden again if the weather cheers up and i also plan to get my watercolours out and do some painting. I borrowed a wonderful book from the library which gives instructions for novice painters. Have some knitting that requires my attention but i will save that for this evening. Have a great day whatever you are doing.

Morning Michael, Annie, and all. Lovely bright, sunny day here in Berks. Haircut for me mid morning, then maybe a bit of shopping. Our old shed was re-roofed yesterday, and now looks very smart. I just wish that the landlord of next door’s property would replace the fence. It is slowly getting worse, and a ‘dead’ tree is holding it up.
BlueSapphire, your holiday sounds just the ticket, and I think I would like to do the trip to Spain, via ferry, as Marydoll has just done.

Good morning all,

It’s trying to brighten up after a dull, slightly misty start. It is also meant to warm up a bit today, too.

Got some Easter baking to do today and a few other small jobs in the house. Then my plan is to go out into the garden to do some general tidying up - the bigger job of cutting the grass was done at the weekend.

Had a lovely lunch out with my friend yesterday in a cafe not too far away. We were very good and walked there and back, approx 2 miles each way. Enjoyed the exercise!

Those of you away on holiday, I hope you continue to have a lovely time - your descriptions of the places and what you have been doing sound wonderful.

Morning all from South Notts. It's bit overcast at the moment. Need to fill in a form and arrange an appointment at the vet for puss who's off his food. He's 19 but still enjoys life - when he's not asleep!

Good morning all.
Our trip to Brugge now seems like a lifetime away as we settle back into grandparent duty ( school holidays/ extra days).
It was a wonderful experience and although I had previously enjoyed Amsterdam, Brugge has much more going for it. Everything is easily reached within walking distance and each street turns into a fairy tale scene. Such beautiful churches with astounding works of art.
We didn't get to the hospital museum linamillion but we did visit the folk museum which was fascinating.
Well, back to reality as we await the arrival of GS 3 who is the liveliest bundle of them all. A busy day ahead.

Good morning from a fairly bright but dry Aberdeenshire. It's still a bit nippy, especially out in my nightie to feed the pheasants and fill the bird feeders...nae a bonny sicht! The mutt and I are off to the woods soon to meet his mates...he is so in love with Pixie, a little shitzu, who adores him in return. Am off to ceramics class tonight...I have finished my green man, very pagan, and shall hang it in the greenhouse. I wonder what underwhelming tat I can make next? It's good craic though and a fun bunch of ladies. Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from Birmingham, where it is cloudy but mild. It’s nice to be back home after our trip. We came back on Brittany Ferries from Santander, and I must commend the staff for their care. My partner has PD and walks with a stick. When we were checking in the woman official asked if we would like some assistance. Three people came and helped us with our luggage- mine too, and we boarded first. Then when we arrived we were helped again. We loved our trip in our cabin with a balcony- lots of room and comfortable beds.
Today I am having tea with my daughters, and a mystery treat beforehand, which is intriguing!

Good Morning from a bright Black Country.

Took 2 DGD's to see Mary Poppins at the cinema yesterday, only cost £2.50 each as it was a special children's screening.
DD and her DH arrived back about 6pm yesterday after their 2 day Spa Hotel break. So I am relaxing today.

Sounds like a lovely holiday so far BlueSapphire, Prague is on my list of places to visit.

Good Morning All , sounds a bit blowy here in Sligo , we enjoyed watching the Surfing yesterday , huge waves , Think we are visiting Yeats grave today
