I wasn't sure where to put this, as it concerns my John Lewis account.

This morning, I found an email from them, in an old email address account.
This is regarding new measure that are to be put in place if you buy something on line. They will send you a one time code to your phone.
Almost exactly a year ago, I updated my details to them, I noted the date, and it would appear that they still have my old email address to use.
I checked on my account, and the new details are there.
Do they ever check?

There should be a setting in your old email account to forward mail to your new one. This saves having to inform everyone when you change address.
I have no idea about JL?

Pittcity, apologies for not answering you, and thank you.

I don't know/ haven't found a setting in my old email.
I can physically forward them, when I see them!. But I am not confident in delving into settings etc.
But I did advise JL of my new email address, I checked in my details, they just used the old one.

I looked at my JL account online. JL tell you to phone them if you want to change your email address. You can't change it yourself.

Best thing is to set up an 'autoreply' on your old email address, something along the lines of "This email address is no longer in use. If your email is urgent, please re-send it to [email protected]"

Thank you all.
NanaMacGeek, I am sure I changed my email address under the bit that is headed, About Me. Or something like that.
