am now sitting here with my feet up^
ScotinOz; Ditto! Beats cooking and washing up any day of the year. tchwink! One of my kind neighbours, Jan, brought me a complete turkey dinner at lunchtime! Lovely! She knew I'd said I wanted to be "let alone" today. She and Vera had been great friends and had read the eulogy at Vera's service.
Sydney's weather appears to have eased slightly, but No1.son in Brisbane has just said they had heavy storms and dumps of rain yesterday. Who'd live in OZ? Me for starters! [tchgrin
Merry Christmas and continue relaxing!

Merry Christmas Rufus and all. I’m not anywhere exotic just here in bed in Kent. I can’t go down stairs because 18 year old grandson asleep on the settee. I have to be quiet his brother asleep in the other bedroom and his parents in the next bedroom. Plus two of their dogs mustn’t be woken or they’ll wake the whole neighbourhood. I love them all including the dogs but oh all the stuff they bring with them. A day of hard work, love and laughter to be had here. I wish you all a very merry Christmas wherever you are and special thoughts to those of you who can’t be with the people you love for what ever the reason.

Good Evening everyone; Well, what a lovely Christmas Day it has been. Less than one hour to go to Boxing Day (and the MCG Test match).
Thank you All for your Christmas wishes. Unfortunately so much sad news about fires, but Son No.1 in Brisbane said today it bucketed down due to thunderstorms yesterday!
Speaking with my nephew in Bournemouth this evening I told him I'd spent the day reclining under our sun umbrella in 32C heat and brilliant sunshine. He countered by saying it was very wet, frost on the car and 5C max. I don't know what he gets up to, but they do say the sun always shines on the virtuous! grin
A final toast and have a good Christmas Day.
