I have enjoyed this, the Sound of Music parody and, most of all, "Coronavirus Rhapsody". The latter was sung by my DD's neighbour. She says he has very impressive hair (as well as an excellent voice, obviously.)

I saw a slightly longer version, and while they were waiting to sing the younger ones started squabbling - 'She's been going on all day like this'...how familiar thAt was!

Excellent! I've sent it round to family and friends, to cheer up their day.

shysal I'm a huge fan of the Sicilian twins on their violins too and have been sharing them all week! I get something in my eyes every time I watch them!

I have not laughed so much since this flaming lock down started. Good on them & what great voices.

Its wonderful isn't it. I have seen a version of this video which isn't showing in this clip - which is quite humorous, before the singing starts.

LIZZIE28 Wed 01-Apr-20 11:34:26

Brilliant - we need more??.

Glosgran Wed 01-Apr-20 11:30:13

If you go to Ben Marsh's Facebook page, you will see that they have done a number of videos.

Sent this to friends in Oz and the US. They thought it was fabulous too. I laughed the first time I watched, but it made me cry when I watched it again.

Cheered me up, what a lovely family. So good to have humour at this awful period in our lives. Thank you for making me laugh.

Aepgirl Wed 01-Apr-20 11:07:38

Yes, a lovely family, and so talented. However, you don’t need a good voice to sing (just tolerant neighbours or good sound-proofing). Singing is so good for you.

Some more talented youngsters here, playing Coldplay on violins. I started it on a new discussion, but only one person commented. Worth another try,

Anyone seen the spoof Sound of Music “Doh Rey Mee”? Brilliant

Oh, just brilliant!

Now, how to work out to send the link to the family hmm

Luckygirl Tue 31-Mar-20 23:11:32

Well done that family!

annodomini Tue 31-Mar-20 23:06:02

I enjoyed the singing and the lyrics, written by Dad, as I heard on the radio this morning. Really witty and topical.

Chewbacca Tue 31-Mar-20 22:55:06

It was on our local Facebook too today. Agree with you all, they're a very talented family and the teenage boy has a wonderful voice.

silverlining48 Tue 31-Mar-20 21:34:17

I saw it on fb today, brilliant and really cheered me up

sodapop Tue 31-Mar-20 20:59:19
