1) Run.
2) Have a really hearty laugh.
3) Sing in public ( i.e. not in the bath!)
4) Tasted something you’ve never tasted before.

For me it’s -

1) Can’t remember.

2) About a month ago, listening to my friend tell me about one of her ( many) catastrophes.

3) Last time at Mass before lockdown.

4) Well before lockdown, I tried salted caramel sauce. I could easily have eaten the whole jar!

1. Ages ago!

2. Today, when a friend posted some old school photos of us on Facebook. I was about 10, with a pixie cut (short back and sides). I remember having that done because I'd got nits grin

3. Never.

4. A few months ago, when I had Miso tea in a Japanese restaurant. I thought it was like salty dishwater

Happysexagenarian Tue 19-May-20 16:31:27

1. Last week trying to catch our dog who had my shoe

2. Last week while talking to son

3. Christmas morning service

4. A couple of weeks ago. We ordered something called Fish Bites from a local shop which we expected to be a bit like scampi. They weren't, they were disgusting.

1.Running: Haven't run for years. Arthritis in the knees.
2.Laughing: Last week, re-reading Nina Stibbe's very funny "Love, Nina." The TV series was good too. I wish they would repeat it.
3.Singing: You must be joking.
4.Food: April 30th, our wedding anniversary, when I made aloo bhatura to go with the chicken tikka masala. It is a potato-stuffed fried Indian bread. It was okay but I don't know if it was worth the effort.

cavewoman Tue 19-May-20 15:28:44

1. Today at work
2. Someone on GN sent a link to the little girl singing (loudly) in her nativity play. I laughed 'til I cried!
3 .Was filmed singing 'We'll meet Again' for VE day. It was sent to BBC but they rejected it smile
4. I made a Chicken Piccata (lemons, capers and double cream) for the first time. Gorgeous.

1) Run. Probably 10 years ago when I saw the bus coming. Now I let it go past and wait for the next one.

2) Have a really hearty laugh. During FaceTime with the family. DS was trying to show off GD’s new skills and she made it clear she is not a performing monkey! She waited for him to give up then went through her new range unprompted.

3) Sing in public ( i.e. not in the bath!). Had a choirmaster at a WI meeting just before Christmas and it was amazing what she achieved in one meeting.

4) Tasted something you’ve never tasted before. Halloumi at a barbecue and been unsuccessfully trying to recreate it for nearly a year now.

Missiseff Tue 19-May-20 15:07:10

1) I can’t remember. These days, it’s all I can do to walk.

2) Yesterday on the phone to my son. I was reading him a letter I had received, and he said I sounded like Geoffrey Fairbrother from Hi de Hi reading aloud one of Joe Maplin’s letters. I just couldn’t stop laughing, because I could hear exactly what he meant.

3) I sing a bit around the flat, but that’s not really in public. I used to be a good singer but it has entirely gone.

4) Can’t think of anything recently.
