Can anyone recommend a bean to cup coffee machine that isn't exorbitantly expensive and isn't too huge either, as worktop space is limited. Currently using a coffee filter machine or cafetiere. Thanks!

Lakeland, we just got one to replace our Nespresso.
It’s small and the coffee seems to keep my husband happy.
I only drink tea.

If you really like coffee, this is something you shouldn't skimp on. I am not a coffee drinker, but at the office where I used to work we had a Jura coffee machine and it made a heavenly cappuccino. They cost at least €1000 though. (At least, they did at the time).

Sorry I can't be of any help, and I am sure there are nice ones for less. Make sure you find a good coffee, too. Makes all the difference.

I’ve got a Sage one, from John Lewis. It’s excellent, and there’s a range of models of different sizes.

I agree with Gasdon we’ve also got a Sage machine.

My husband and eldest son are both serious coffee drinkers, the sort that have in-depth conversations about the correct temperature for coffee and where the bean was picked and roasted. [? yawn]

Last Christmas I offered to buy my son a coffee machine for Christmas and he declined (very politely) as he had his eye on a Sage coffee machine from John Lewis that cost ££££s more than I could afford. He absolutely loves it and says it was worth every penny.
