Insect repellent

Quite by chance, I have discovered that Nuxe oil seems to repell insects. I am usually a magnet for anything that bites or stings, especially on warm summer evenings, but a month ago my sister gave a garden party and I sat late into the evening chatting. Getting undressed later, I noticed that I had a couple of mosquito bites on my shoulder, but none on my arms or legs. I concluded that my shoulder was the only accessible skin that had not had Nuxe dry oil on it. Since then I have not been bitten once. On Thursday, for instance, a group of us were outside on a very warm evening. Everyone was bitten except me, one friend having to be treated with antibiotics for an infected bite. Has anyone else experienced this benefit? I have used Avon Skin- So-Soft in the past, with good results, but I prefer the smell of Nuxe.

Thank you DoraMarr.

I will be looking this up as I'm normally a magnet for bites. Like you Skin-so-soft works ok ish for me but I don't always like the smell.

Anything that stops me from being an all you can eat buffet for the little blighters is worth a try.

I have some Nuce shower gel, oil and cologne spray (a Christmas gift) unused in bathroom, will let you know how I get on.

Thank for that Dora Mosquitos love me. I had to go to hospital in Bulgaria, I was so badly bitten. The whole of my leg swelled up and I had difficulty walking. There were 10 of us on the holiday and no one else had a single bite!

We use Mosquito Milk ( online from Chemist Direct) and have both remained bite free!
