Teeth - or to be more precise - teeth on a plate. I have had, for a few years a partial denture of the plasticky kind. I bought a pack of FDC Denture cleaner today and it has gone up to £26.98!! That is enough for three months only.

Can anyone (Dentist?) suggest a suitable alternative, please? I was toying with the idea of very, very diluted Milton.

assuming its just the sachets you want its just over £15 for 3 months supply on Amazon,I just checked as I've never heard of it .

I had an extraction last week and have a temporary denture until I get a bridge a few months hence. My dentist advised that I can leave the single denture in very diluted Milton overnight.

Thank you Terribull. I shall do the same!! Going to contact the surgery and see what has happened. I went to the FDC site and it was quoted at just over £12.00. Shall speak to surgery and query why there was OVER 100% mark up!

!paddyann - Thank you for the info.

A friend of mine puts them in the cutlery basket in the dishwasher on a hot wash!

To be honest when she told me I was a bit eeewwww but she said, "Forks and spoons go into mouths and you're not weird about that"...I have to conceed she has a point, plus bacteria are killed on hot washes.

I clean mine with toothpaste when cleaning my remaining teeth. Have done for years.
