Local stair lift knowledge & providers

Hello Cotswold Group.

This is my first post.

My elderly neighbour has been considering getting a stairlift for her husband. They have both had strokes.

For one reason or another we are getting quite concerned about Handicare that seems to come with the Age UK logo of approval.

I have also just checked Which? Review and see that Handicare came third out of three national supplier with a very mediocre customer satisfaction rating. That makes me wonder why Age UK have approved them.

Does anyone have advice, recommendations or access to local and reputable suppliers, please, or know of anyone wishing to get rid of a stair lift that is in good condition. (Straight stairs). Thanks.
