Yes. The article strikes many chords. Perhaps she goes on a little bit too much, but good nonetheless.

Found myself nodding and chuckling.

me also soop especially the bit sitting in the park with her son and counting the minutes....so where did I used to go quite happily with E also looking at my watch ..but thinking oh no have to go soon.

She mentions so many things that I can relate to from when my DGCs where younger and when I was needed more for baby sitting duties,I loved the times when it was feeding time and could pick up a child and cuddle and smell the babyness and for us to be on our own when parents where out.

Happy memories! Like dawdling with a toddler who needs to inspect tree bark and moss... peer through endless railings, investigate the underside of a roundabout [lying full length to do so], climbing steps to other people's houses so that Nana can say...but we don't live here...and hearing the giggles that follow on...

I recognise the bit about having a common enemy - "I'll let you have some more biscuits and watch Spongebob if you don't tell Mummy about it"
