Which MPs would you really love to lose their seats? For me - Zac Goldsmith, Jeremy Hunt for starters.

Coco51 Fri 09-Jun-17 02:47:08

Theresa May

Have some pearls

Not acceptable DD!

Anya Thu 08-Jun-17 22:46:20

I agree too. Disgraceful sexism - and from a woman too.

FarNorth Thu 08-Jun-17 22:32:14

I agree, Chewbacca

Chewbacca Thu 08-Jun-17 21:23:01

I have no time for Esther McVey but calling her, or any other woman "a cow", isn't constructive criticism or rational debate, it's just abuse.

Anniebach Thu 08-Jun-17 21:00:29

Residents of Tatton had Martin Bell for MP

No one practices Kinder Politics than McDonald, but his deeply offensive verbal attacks shouldn't be criticised , he said - I am a naughty boy , so expects us to laugh

POGS Thu 08-Jun-17 20:23:59

I hope Esther McVey wins a seat back.

At least she doesn't practice the ' Kinder Politics' of ' The Joker ' John McDonnell and will not find it amusing for anybody to find it amusing to call for opposition MP's to be 'lynched' or call them "A stain on humanity".

daphnedill Thu 08-Jun-17 19:31:48

She's been parachuted into Tatton, Osborne's old seat.

I don't know what the residents of Tatton do to get such MPs. Neil Hamilton was once their MP.

Anniebach Thu 08-Jun-17 19:07:54

Oh not Esther McVey back please,

daphnedill Thu 08-Jun-17 18:50:03

All heart, aren't you, Peaseblossom?

Diane Abbott will almost certainly retain her seat, but her future depends on her health.

I would love Priti Patel to lose her seat and Esther McVey to fail to win Tatton. If Boris Johnson, Jeremy Hunt and Liam Fox were to lose, I'd be in seventh heaven. Oh, add Amber Rudd to that list.

amt101 Thu 08-Jun-17 18:32:57

Not Jacob Rees-Mogg, he's is amusing and inftelligent.
I'd just like a change in the voting system. It's almost a waste of time voting in a safe seat in the first past the post system.

Peaseblossom Thu 08-Jun-17 18:18:49

mostlyharmless. Are you kidding me? Diane Abbott is appalling and useless. She talks rubbish and never knows the figures. I hope she gets the sack along with Jeremy Corbyn who would be a total disaster as Prime Minister.

LesleyC Thu 08-Jun-17 14:53:23

Oh and that awful creepy whisperer Barry Gardiner.

LesleyC Thu 08-Jun-17 14:51:55

Corby, McDonnell, Thornberry, Abbott, Tom Watson. Bring back the back benchers such as Chukka Umuna and Yvette Cooper, who declined to serve or were sacked from Corbyn's shadow cabinet. Even though not agreeing with their politics they were a more competent lot. Jacob R-M adds to the gaiety of the nation!

Actually it is the News and Politics forum, but today all the news is likely to be about politics.

FarNorth Thu 08-Jun-17 13:27:33

gringrin NannyMargaret this is the politics forum.

rosesarered Thu 08-Jun-17 13:26:57

I forgot to add Farron to my list!

toscalily Thu 08-Jun-17 13:21:28

Clegg, Farron, Hunt, Corbyn, Abbot & Nuttall in no particular order as to who goes first smile I do like Ken Clarke but think it is really time he retired now. Blair popped up a week or so ago but seems to be off the radar again now (long may it last).

Riverwalk Thu 08-Jun-17 13:14:55

Thought it was too much to hope for one day free from politics!

Er, NannyMargaret there's something special going on today!

Just because the likes of the BBC go into party-politics purdah doesn't mean the rest of us have to.

pollyperkins Thu 08-Jun-17 13:09:03

mostlyharmless I agree about Diane Abbott. No need for personal abuse.

I like Clegg & Corbyn too. Thereare some complacent tory MPs I wouldnt mind seeing go. Like Justine Greening, Gove, Leadsome. But it wont happen!

FarNorth Thu 08-Jun-17 12:46:25

Ruth Davidson isn't an MP, although according to the Telegraph, she's queen of Scotland.

Not to get re-elected? David Mundell, Boris ,Johnson, and especially Theresa May

dizzygran Thu 08-Jun-17 12:38:30

I like Jacob Rees Mogg. He's intelligent with a good sense of humour and seems to look after his constituents.
