I wonder how hard/easy it is to hack that company?
Just imagine what havoc could be wrought?

We wouldn't notice here in Germany. This country is notorious for its awful broadband service. They say the new government, whoever they will be, should prioritise improving digital services, especially in the light of it becoming indispensable during the pandemic.

One day we will disappear up our own backsides because we rely on the internet for everything now.

Quote: While the reason for the crash remains unclear, it is likely the issue is with US firm Fastly - a content delivery network (CDN) company that helps users view digital content more quickly.
Fastly's technology requires it to sit between its clients and their users, meaning that if the service suffers a failure, it can prevent those companies from operating on the net at all.
