Joining a political party

This is something I have never done, on the grounds that no party can encompass all my opinions - there will be bits I can endorse and bits I cannot.

But now? ..... I am tempted to do so, as we need more than just voting to get us out of this terrible situation we find ourselves in. I don't know how much longer I can watch our integrity and humanity being destroyed without taking some active steps.

Am I alone?

I think that’s the problem isn’t it. Politics isn’t black and white but full of grey areas. Even though I’ve always voted Labour I did join the LibDems because I wanted a peoples vote. However, I’m now back in the Labour Party as I feel that they’re the only alternative to the current government. At the same time I would never state emphatically that I would never vote Conservative. I doubt if I ever will and I think my left hand would fight with my right hand if it tried to put a x next to a Conservative candidate but I’m not ruling it out completely.

I will never join a political party. None of them appeal enough to join them.
