That was simply lovely . I hope my grandchildren will remember me in the same way.

I'd agree Nana! But what also struck me was the DIL looking back at her viewpoint and realising that maybe there was something else more important going on....

If only this could be the case with some DiL eh ?

I have just handed DGD back to her daddy tonight. I hope I have been a great gran to her today. MY DIL thinks I spoil her. However, I always thought I wasn't a great success at being a mum myself, as my own mother never really showed any affection to me and I found being demonstrative very difficult as a mum. I hope my granddaughter will remember me as a very loving gran.

I had my three unexpectedly for a couple of hours this evening (after a long day at work) as my DS and DDiL had an urgent appointment. The first thing I said when they burst through the front door was "oh, no. Not you three again!" They laugh. They went on to eat me out of house and home and the housework I did when they left on Tuesday night, was a complete waste of time as the house is in uproar again.

Would I have it any other way?

That was lovely Madgran77 made me feel quite tearful.
