Ingredients

1 mug of bran (or All Bran)
1 mug brown sugar
1 mug milk
1 mug self raising flour
55g (2oz) sultanas or raisins

Handy Hint

You can put some loose foil over the top for the last half hour to stop the top burning.

Method

1) Combine bran, sugar and milk and let it go soggy for one hour.
2) Add self raising flour and fruit, stir in throughly.
3) Pour into a loaf tin and put in oven number 3 or about 175 degrees for one and a half hours or until a fork comes out dry when inserted.

A lovely moist tea bread, nice with butter or spread but nice on its own too.
