There was a recent thread where someone (kittylester??) was unhappy re her outfit for a wedding. One or two suggestions were given about dresses that covered a multitude of sins and cost around £40. Can anyone refresh my memory on what these were as I can't identify the thread? Thanks

Well its all laid out on the spare bed ready to go so I think I am sticking with it. If I put my wine goggles on early perhaps if I don't mind it wont matter. smile

Yes, I suggested Cotton Traders, they have velvet dresses and black sparkly ones at around £40.

I am hoping to be a bit sneaky this year and wearing the same black dress that I wore last year but using different colour accessories do you think anyone will notice... I think all black dresses are much the same and would be buying almost the same dress again and cant see the point in spending when the one I have has
only been worn once. What do you think?

Sounds eminently sensible to me glass. smile

No! She should wear something pretty like this one (She is still a slip of a girl)

Impeccable taste, jingl.

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 25-Nov-15 19:16:05

So pretty anno. I could have worn it once - if I remember rightly. hmm

Do I have to wear a dress at Christmas? shock

Please no .....

rosequartz Wed 25-Nov-15 19:18:43

The DDs would look lovely in that one

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 25-Nov-15 19:22:47

I wanted the Marks and Sparks Twiggy black velvet trousers, but they've sold them all. hmm

That's the dress DD1 wore in cobalt blue to her sister's wedding. Very pretty and also quite 'forgiving'. Quite loose fitting apart from the little beaded belt.

rosequartz Wed 25-Nov-15 19:38:46

I shall have to wear last years trousers then ....

rosesarered Wed 25-Nov-15 21:50:20

I have the black velvet trousers ( smug mode)

rosesarered Wed 25-Nov-15 21:50:46

I only wear dresses in Summer.

glassortwo Wed 25-Nov-15 23:37:56

Katek Wed 25-Nov-15 23:55:48
