I wonder if the Queen's favourite son has arrived back in this country yet. And how he's looking.

I do hope he will address the nation directly, about how much he has enjoyed his ski-ing holiday of course. And whether he got any Christmas cards from anyone in the US.

Dear boy. smile

There goes Geraldine's damehood! grin

LOL, get Foyle on the case, he'll sort it out- not afraid of anybody- and he was practically there when it happened ;)

Here you go, *jingl*

I'd hate you to be kept in suspenders.

And I'm thinking up captions for the first pic. grin

Anne58 Mon 05-Jan-15 15:57:06

By the way, does anyone know what colour Prince Andrews eyes are?

Riverwalk Mon 05-Jan-15 16:16:10

No, do tell.

Anne58 Mon 05-Jan-15 16:28:32

I don't know! That's why I was asking! (There is a reason for asking though)

Ana Mon 05-Jan-15 16:34:37

They look grey or grey/blue in this.

Andy's Eyes

Anne58 Mon 05-Jan-15 16:35:50

Aaah that's alright then. I had a funny feeling that they might have been brown or hazel.......

Riverwalk Mon 05-Jan-15 16:36:20

You used to live with them - you should know!

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 05-Jan-15 16:39:29

I feel so sorry for him. There he was with his girls and Sarah, enjoying a family holiday. And this happens.

And that poor Queen!

I like a nice headscarf too.

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 05-Jan-15 16:41:37

phoenix used to live with his eyes. And therefore with the rest of him?!

Flip me! It gets worse. hmm

Anne58 Mon 05-Jan-15 16:42:21

Can't remember ever seeing him, although I did have a chat with Charles once.

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 05-Jan-15 16:45:47

Oooh-er.hmm Why do you need to know about his eyes?

Agus Mon 05-Jan-15 16:48:31

Oh Phoenix, You've got me concerned about having dark brown eyes or was your post going along the lines of innuendo?

rosequartz Mon 05-Jan-15 16:55:11

Blue (or were when he was a toddler and they would not have changed since then)

Do tell!

rosequartz Mon 05-Jan-15 16:58:37

That old thing about blue eyed parents not being able to produce a child with brown eyes is not strictly true - it is a general rule but a far too simplistic one.
Genetics is more complicated than that.

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 05-Jan-15 17:00:04

shock !!!

Watch it!

rosequartz Mon 05-Jan-15 17:05:22

Who, me? confused

Only making a comment on eye colour, not sure where this is going.
Ask phoenix - why??

Anne58 Mon 05-Jan-15 17:16:16

What rosequartz said!

(Sorry for slowness, having technical problems!)

Ana Mon 05-Jan-15 17:20:36

Yes, it's also a myth that if one parent has brown eyes any children will, too as the brown gene dominates. It doesn't always, as was the case in my ex's family.

Agus Mon 05-Jan-15 17:20:59

Stop drip feeding! grin

Elegran Mon 05-Jan-15 17:33:25

What drip feeding? This is a scientific discussion of eye colour.

Two brown-eyed parents could each contribute a blue-eyed gene which had been hidden in them because their brown-eyen one was dominant, but if a child inherited the two blue-eyed genes, he/she would be blue-eyed.

rosequartz Mon 05-Jan-15 17:36:16

Still not sure where this is going .... or not as the case may be!

Nor in our family as we must both carry a recessive blue gene.
And a red haired gene
And a blond gene.

Yes, they are all ours!

Stansgran Mon 05-Jan-15 17:36:25

I was once at a golf club when Cilla Black's auntie shouted at him.
