Yes, it was a tongue-in-cheek remark grin He had it clutched in his hand.

I think it was a throw-away remark which he quickly corrected by saying he concealed the ring in the palm of his hand.

I was disappointed when Bear Grylls came to visit my son's scout camp. It had been a wet weekend and the boys were waiting in the rain and mud when Bear Grylls turned up with a minder holding an umbrella over him! So much for the great adventurer!

Just watching the programme and he didn't do that, or say that he had!
He seems like a nice bloke, which I wasn't really expecting smile

Hmm ... I'll refrain from speculating on the size ...of her finger of coursewink

But I certainly wouldn't have put it on. And what would have happened if it had been irretrievable?

Well, it could have been worse - by an inch or so!

Apparently Bear Grylls (so-called adventurer, and presently Chief Scout) has revealedblush that he proposed to his wife after skinny dipping ...okay I can go with that, I'm not a total prude... but the bit about him producing the engagement ring from his butt cheeks is just too much information
