Just seen that Johnny Briggs (Mike Baldwin) from Corrie has died, 85 I think.

Who can forget the love triangle between Mike, Ken and Deirdre?

I remember seeing him in No Hiding Place early 60s cant remember his character name though,I was about 7/ 8 at the time.

I don`t watch Corrie, I remember him as Supt Lockhart`s sidekick sergeant in Murder Bag, many years before, RIP,

I was shocked when I saw he was 85 I still see him as Mike and a good looker and a cheeky chappie
It said he’d had a long illness

A lot of us grew up with Coronation Street. Now many of the famous faces have gone. RIP Mike.

Yes so many great characters in Corrie over the years, I was surprised to hear he was 85 as well. That love triangle was one of best stories. RIP Johnnie Briggs.
