My grandson loved that song when he saw the film, NanKate. Took me right back to when I was a kid, hearing it played on my teddy boy uncle's gramaphone and watching teenage uncles and aunties jiving in their front parlour smile

Brilliant NanKate Your link led me on to this one:

That's the trouble with Youtube, it always takes you on a 'journey' to other things, none of them involving housework and chores. Another day with nothing getting done . . . grin

Thanks all your little ravers for your positive responses.

When what is the name of the film please as I think my two GSs will enjoy it when they are a bit older ?

If there is a heaven, which I hope there is, I want to meet up with Elvis and persuade to do another gig. smile

I love youtube. It was my Friday night fun when OH went to the pub to play.
We have moved a bit further away from the pub now, so he doesn't go so often.
It's an even worse 'addiction' if you have a smart TV. Does anyone else dance to the clips. I could gaze at Rick Nelson for hours. Sigh.

I too dance to any upbeat music Petra especially 'Happy' by Pharrell Williams.

Some young black lads were doing a rap session at our local fete yesterday. I went up to congratulate them on the excellent words in their songs and said how much I enjoyed their performance. They insisted one having photos taken with me. DH is expecting me to feature in the local paper. grin

I love this music. The film is King Ralph.

NanKate the film is called "King Ralph" and stars John Goodman. I love it, it's one of my favourites. Better vet it though as there are some scenes which might not be suitable for young children.
