An old movie such as Blithe Spirit.

A mug of tea and some buttered toast!
Closely followed by a proper hug from dd or ds.

A cup of coffee an hour or so before I go to bed. A hot water bottle, a good book and Tara my cat

Nelliemoser Mon 30-Mar-15 22:11:22

Well buttered toast and marmite and my hot water bottle.

Arms around me. And rather oddly, a deep, hot bath. I've been known to run one at 2 a.m.

Music -anything by Mozart and also "Sailing By"(shipping forecast music). Nice smells like lavender, surprise phone calls/texts/visits (I should be so lucky) from DDs or DGC.
Failing that, white chocolate . . .,.

A cup of DH's special coffee in the morning or a cup of tea in the afternoon. A hug from DH is good, too.

The wind whistling around the house and me safely in bed.

A very thick and very chocolatey hot chocolate, mostly cocoa, maybe a dollop of cream if there is any available. Then drink it in bed reading a good book. That only works in the winter though.

In the summer it has to be doing some gardening and watching how nature just keeps on going, no matter what gets thrown at it.
