I was wondering too.....hope it went well. And tell me I am not the only one feeling a little sorry for the nursing staff .....just relax ethel and let the professionals do their job. Hope you are up to posting on here soon.

ethel did say she wouldn't be posting until she came home from hospital, so we'll just have to be patient! .

I am sure that she is being made comfortable on some hefty pain relief that will also hopefully have a role in relieving her anxiety. Let us hope she will be home again soon.

I have no doubt that the staff will have had other very anxious people so they will take it all in their stride I am sure.

She said she wouldn't be posting because she was leaving her i-phone at home in case it got stolen in the hospital.

Such an anxious person-hope she feels better now it's over.

I do hope ethelbags recovers quickly, I know she said she's a very impatient and a private person so being in hospital won't be easy for her, let alone coping with the effects of surgery, bless her.

Is it really fair/helpful to discuss ethel in her absence?

I know everyone's got her best interests at heart, but as she is indeed a private person I don't feel comfortable with this thread.

Appreciate what you're saying Ana, but I think a few of us were concerned about Ethel because of her anxieties. I know I was and merely wanted to express my concern - not to have a discussion about her.

I hope she's ok, too.

I am of the same mind as Ana I wish her well but don't think we should be saying anything more than that
