Morning Mick, morning All

A lovely bright sunny morning here in Norfolk. But there's an autumnal nip in the air. Too early! We can't have Autumn yet!

We're dog sitting DD1's two little cocker spaniels. One is eleven and deaf and has a sore mouth which somehow has to be bathed at great risk twice a day and the other is an boisterous two year old who wants to play all the time. They're also inclined to be lap dogs and, we now discover, are used to sleeping on the bed! It's a battle of wills! Only two more weeks to go!

Morning all.
Mackerel sky here in N Kent. Showers are forecast.
I got woken up at 6am by the air ambulance landing in the field right behind our house. Not good on a Sunday morning but even worse for the poor patient. Hope they're ok.

Morning all!

It's cloudy but fairly bright in North Leicestershire. Yet more gardening today and gammon, coleslaw and baked potatoes for dinner - better get on!

Hope whoever the ambulance was for is ok, nina

Blue skies in N Somerset. I'm off to archery

I agree about the "autumnal nip" !! It's not even August yet either.
Are our seasons totally up the spout?

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. The sun is shining here in South Yorkshire and I think we are set to have a decent day. On our walk yesterday local farmers seem to have their harvest going well. All the rape seed is in and the wheat in the fields next to our estate looks as if it will be next to go. I like to see the farming year roll round. Have a good day, folks!

Good Morning all. Cheshire weather is "mostly cloudy with a shower."
I am still coughing and sneezing and talking in a voice about an octave lower than usual. A horrible cold and I am feeling tired with it.

Good morning everyone.

A beautiful blue sunny day here on South Downs. Absolutely glorious.

Sons father in Law sadly passed away as expected, so a miserable period for Daughter in Laws family.

I took Mum for her birthday outing to her choice of smart hotel. There was also a wedding taking place which spilled onto the grounds and terrace which was rather nice watching all the lovely clothes, Although Mum rather thought there was far too much flesh showing!!!!!

Today is a meal for the family so Roast Chicken and Ice cream sundaes. Must go and get the fresh veg and fruit in a minute.

Enjoy your day everyone!

Good morning from Cyprus. It is a mere 39 degrees here, the grandchildren and parents are in the swimming pool, 4 year old GS has learnt to swim in the last week, can do a width of the pool (4 metres) underwater! Lots of sun cream in use. No rain expected till the end of September.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Slept late this morning as yesterday turned out to be second in a row spent with DGS2. Was just going to watch him for an hour while they went to browse the local car showroom. It ended up as four hours and they returned with a new car! Fully intend to rest today!

Good morning.
Sleepless night for me, will be tired all day.
DD going to fix my iPad on her computer but it's been better yesterday, would you believe it!
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all, a beautiful morning here and the weeds will grow because we had a really long rainfall yesterday morning. Had a great day yesterday, went to the local small theatre and saw 3 of Alan Bennets "Talking Heads". The audience(about 80) and the performers were all on stage and it was cleverly done, after that we joined all the bowls club friends for a buffet meal. Slept well. Enjoy your days.

Morning all! It's the same lovely day here as you have PRINTMISS and we had your heavy rainfall yesterday morning too - just as I came out of the hairdresser's without an umbrella!

Glad to get a text to say DS and family arrived back safely at Heathrow after 2 weeks in Sardinia. It is really worrying about the Jihadist attacks. Where next?

Good morning from a sunny north east. It was very cool during the night enough for the heating to switch on. Lazy day as we saw GC yesterday.
