Yep! I popped a few of the Smartie "rewards" into my mouth during the potty-training period. Needed to replace the tube in order to cover my sin of gluttony.

Are the chocolate buttons in tubes? because the charity I used to be with had a good money-making wheeze (still do).

The drill is - you buy a tube of smarties, eat them, and then put your loose change into the tube, which you hand over to them when it is full. As they also buy the smarties wholesale from the cash & carry to sell to you, they make a bit more profit there.

So you can eat smarties AND help a charity. That helps the conscience no end.
