To want to ban the use of certain words

1. Outrage...everything is outrageous now
2. Offence...everything is offensive and everyone takes offence
3. Like...as scattered in conversation

I am horrified at increasing use of the word 'gotten'. It really grates on me. Its just so wrong. Why can't people just say 'become' instead?

I can't stand the current craze for saying 'do you know what' then saying what it was they thought. Its usually used argumentatively as far as I can see.
