I am not asking for where or what you have felt confident to make these allegations because I believe you are making them on the back of his making a dinner speech. I am asking for evidence that what you have stated about Rees-Mogg is from the mouth of the man himself.

Rees--Mogg said that as far as abortion is concerned, he obeys a higher whip than the government whip.

As contraception is sod all to do with parliament why discuss it on a politics thread . As for concern over a persons conscience , why is it acceptable to discuss one MP's conscience but not another MP's lack of conscience

You and I will not agree with all of our MP's because thank goodness we live in a Democracy, although that is becoming a bone of contention lately.

To expect or demand all MP's vote as we would do is not only narcissistic it is a dangerous path that leads to lord knows where.

The intolerance of the principle ' One Man One Vote ' has grown out of proportion and to be honest I think we are sailing into dangerous waters when our MP's are ALL subject to such abuse and vilification as we see and hear to date.

I have never known so many MP's , from all parties, publicly declaring having to deal with 'fake news' , ' hate abuse' 'personal threats' etc. as we have seen and heard of late.

I yield to nobody in my contempt for Rees-Mogg, dj, but a parliamentary democracy can only work if MPs, while taking into account the views of their constituents, are free to vote as they think fit. Otherwise we just have populism.

There are two bills going through parliament to try and restrict the time for women to have abortions. Rees-Mogg will vote in favour of both of them, regardless of his constituents wishes.
