I've just had a look at the FB page and most of the women look about 40. I'm sure Grans of that age are in a small minority. There's only a couple of pictures of mature grans.

It's not long since I had a little moan about the stereotypical short, grey-haired 'gran' images used on the Gransnet Facebook page , so to me, this is an improvement - I never looked as good as those women even when I was young, but I can dream

Actually my two chins aren't nearly as scrawny!

As you can see, I definitely don't have any bingo wings, thread veins, gnarled knuckles or age spots on my beautifully toned and tanned arms. As is the case, naturally.

The man in the picture looks a tad old for the likes of us young grannies don't you think?

Well I did look like the MOTB when DD married but I was only 46 when she tied the knot.

To be fair, I think only the MOTB, in the picture, and her DH (presumably) are meant to be the oldies.

So the rest of you who are in the picture with them are quite unusual.

I don't think the MOTB looks great - hair is not good, that thing on the side of her head is too twee, wrong colour and that pale pink is too insipid.
Oh - and her fingernails are too red

Now I will go away and hide from the brickbats.
