SueDonim which 'bandwagon' are you referring to? Is it the unsuccessful one to post this petition on GN in as many ways as possible in a desperate attempt to collect signatures? The article may be interesting but it is certainly not objective or even well researched. As far as children go, to have sports which include girls and boys might be a vast improvement for girls. It has been proved that there is very little difference in young children's physical abilities based on gender and girls actually are capable of competing with boys, only tradition and culture prevents them. Perhaps when gender is questioned more the whole cultural edifice which has imposed restrictions will collapse and people will be able to reach their true potential regardless of gender.
