Certaintly humpty, the diference between communism and democratic socialism has been explained here by Corbyn supporters, Corbyn supports communist ideals, has communist ideals, his followers are not going to admit this so use ‘social democracy ‘ as a cover.

Annie, you are still confounding Communism with Democratic Socialism. The difference has been explained many times here, and it is usually only the right-wing who can't understand the difference (or don't want to).

Always voted Labour but wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole now. It’s not only Corbyn but his cohorts I suspect are using him as a puppet. Too left, too extreme. Would bankrupt the countrywith their largess which increases as they think of new offers to the voting public. These are signs of desperation not understanding.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Corbyn got the keys of No 10 and in no way surprised with the disaster which will follow . Communism doesn’t work.

Yes I agree with you yggdrasil, and unlike most posters I think Jeremy Corbyn will be Prime Minister. The Labour Party have some sensible and humanitarian policies, admittedly some are aspirational, but that is true of any party in opposition. It will not be us oldies but the younger ones who will be responsible for the future of our country, and there are plenty up and coming in the Labour Party to take over Jeremy's reins when he drops off the perch!

Over the last 10 years the Conservatives have damaged the NHS to the point where they intend to sell it to the US Insurers , cut back the welfare system to the point where people have died before getting the help they needed, and are now trying to destroy our economy through Brexit with no idea about what will follow.

Yes, unfortunately the Lib Dems have become a joke, especially under Vince Cable.
It will be difficult to choose who to vote for ( not that an election is due until 2022) but since Corbyn needs to be kept out of power ( can anyone really imagine the plonker as PM) then it has to be the Conservatives.
There could be big changearounds in both the Cabinet and the Shadow Cabinet before then though.

As a life long labour supporter I left the party when Jeremy was voted into power. He’s a disaster for labour and if ever he became pm with that appaling shadow cabinet god Forbid.

Trying to play the sympathy card later simply does not wash with me. As I stated, if Day6 has health problems then that I can sympathise with. However, in that situation, it would be far wiser to not attack others by name on this forum if a response in kind is to be so upsetting to that person.

Like many, many others, I am no fan of present day Labour. (I come from a working class background too and my father and family always felt it was the party which represented our interests. It no longer does.)

I think you took umbrage at that - as you do with anyone who differs with you regarding Corbyn and co. You can defend them of course, given we tend to be politically partisan on this forum. That is understandable.

However, you tend to attack posters, and not their posts. People will reply in kind.
