Aibu. DH watched me strip the guest bed this week saw the linen drying and then watched me iron it and put it back on the bed ready for whoever stays next. The next night he moved into that bed because I was snoring. Agh!
I haven’t said anything because on a previous occasion I spent half day cleaning bathroom for guests coming the next day only to find him using it instead of the en-suite we usually use. This caused a huge argument. Is it me?

A rather famous Woman, possibly one that secretly Grandad1943 admires, advised the press to starve certain people of the oxygen (publicity) that they so craved.

MawBroon Quote [Of course I don’t hate men, but my tolerance threshold for pompous pr**ks is remarkably low. ] End Quote

My tolerance is similar Mawbroon, especially when they continually try to display their so-called high education on this forum, but in doing that demonstrate prejudice with little grasp of real life and it's events.

Iam64 Thu 07-Feb-19 20:40:28

Cherry tree you are, of course, right

GrannyGravy13 Thu 07-Feb-19 20:40:58

Grandad please lighten up and stop taking everything literally. As per the song "girls just wanna have fun"!!!!

Grandad1943 Thu 07-Feb-19 20:42:28

Still waiting for the evidence of me threatening you with legal action Mawbroon, which you alleged earlier in this thread.

MawBroon Thu 07-Feb-19 20:43:22

I prefer my chips out of newspaper, not on shoulders. ?
Not forgetting the salt and vinegar!

Grandad1943 Thu 07-Feb-19 20:48:11

Yes GrannyGravy13, I will lighten up when some on this forum lighten up on what I post

Let's have equality all round shall we, as many on this forum continually call for. Or is that just for one gender. confused

Mawbroon???. However, I admit for those of us with little education; this high education stuff is beyond me. grin

Glad I have had the opportunity to read this phoenix, before it gets deleted - if it does! I won't be the only one to agree with you wholeheartedly.

Phoenix ?????

Iam64 Thu 07-Feb-19 21:10:45

Phoenix smile

Cherrytree59 Thu 07-Feb-19 21:11:05

Phoenix ?

Grandad1943 Thu 07-Feb-19 21:12:52

Phoenix, I will not request that your post @ 21:01 today be deleted as once again I feel it states much more about you than anything you state about me in your post.

It is apt though phoenix that you should join this thread as one who loves to openly ridicule her husband on this forum so very often, even on a Christmas Day.

Season of goodwill and all that.grin

PECS Thu 07-Feb-19 21:13:20

People on this thread were having a bit of 'off-load' time about the niggles we all have of living with someone not damning all men to hell!

My DH would complain that I :
-Make too much mess and clutter when I cook and sew,
-don't put my sewing machine away each time I stop for the day,
-don't rinse the dishes enough
- don't stack them his way in the dishwasher
-like to have too many scatter cushions
Oh the list goes on...
We all can be irritated by habits and behaviours of the ones we love... off loading here probably helps to save a row at home....

My DH can be a real pain in the butt with his ridiculous behaviour, but I love him to pieces!

Good post again, phoenix

Lisagran Thu 07-Feb-19 21:14:13

Phoenix grin (see what I did there - I used ** and [ ] grin )

Do you keep files on some GN posters Grandad1943?

Iam64 Thu 07-Feb-19 21:21:13

Nasty isn’t it, Phoenix of all people, kind, light hearted, entertaining, resilient, a positive person. Can’t have that can we, let’s put her name into the search thing and find sonething to “quote” end quote ! to use to get st her and irritate the rest of them

phoenix Thu 07-Feb-19 21:21:17

I have never "ridiculed" Mr P, and never would. You are showing yourself to be a very odd person Grandad1943

GrannyGravy13 Thu 07-Feb-19 21:23:40

If I were to list all things that I do that irritate Mr.GG13 I fear it might "crash" the GN sight, I love him -he loves me. We laugh at and with each other, that's life, wouldn't change a thing!!!!

phoenix Thu 07-Feb-19 21:24:37

Iam64 thank you so much for that post!thanks

MawBroon Thu 07-Feb-19 21:30:39

I loved my husband more than life itself Grandad and as I held him in my arms as he slipped away I would in an instant have gone with him.
*How dare you accuse me of “hating men*”
I don’t hate men, but despise men who patronise women, puff themselves up with self righteous indignation and clearly manifest a mammoth chip on their shoulder when consumed by their own petty self-importance.
Make of that what you will but get out of my face.
