How in earth can having her photograph taken with her baby offend her feminine principles, she has paraded around for 7 months clutching her bump.

Prince Harry said earlier in the week that social media is as addictive for kids as drugs and alcohol. They can be bullied and become anxious and depressed.
Instagram seems to be the worst apparently, although he didn't mention that by name.
However, AIBU to expect Harry and Meghan with all their virtue-signalling, to be less hypocritical? The Sussexes have just set up an Instagram account and already have over 3 million followers apparently !!! Is this not blatant hypocrisy?
Before this, Harry's topic was a climate change lecture to young people while he and Meghan zipped about in private jets for her baby shower and his trip back for Valentine's Day.
I have always been very fond of Harry but since he has become New Agey and got on various soapboxes, they both have had a marvellous chance to practise what they preach..... but are not doing it.
I'm disappointed in him.

Oh Merlotgran you have no idea how much that made me howl with laughing. Thank you, thank you.
I can't wait to tell my daughter tomorrow.
This is all going to end in tears. The veil is going to lift one day from Harry's eyes.
Do royal spouses sign pre-nup agreements?
They are not the only Royals on Instagram,
Lovely photos of William & Kate, The Queen etc
Even The Queen has her own page
Well Anniebach, maybe we'll be told, maybe she'll breastfeed in public and we'll find out that way. Who knows.
We weren’t told about Kate
I thought Harry was unwise in making comments about the evils of social media when he and his wife have availed themselves of it. I'm fairly sure his speeches are run past advisors so surely they could see that he would be left open to charges of hypocrisy. It may be that he could not see that there was something of a contradiction between what he was saying and what he is doing but, as I said before, there are other members of the family who have done much worse, with very little criticism.
I have no animosity towards Harry and Meghan - it is the institution that I dislike - and I think the continual nastiness about them is just horrible. I think Meghan's card was marked as soon as she became engaged to Harry. I agree with the poster who talked about underlying racism and much more blatant snobbery, describing her as "a nobody" and implying her unsuitability, unlike Diana who "came from an artistocratic family" (I liked Diana but I'm not sure why being of artistocratic birth is seen as a plus, given the behaviour of artistocrats and the monarchy throughout history).
Meghan: "describing her as "a nobody" and implying her unsuitability, unlike Diana who "came from an aristocratic family" "
Diana was 'a commoner' (but not as common as the rest of us, obviously).
Kate was even more common than Diana but is learning and adjusting - perhaps from observing other people's mistakes past and present.
It's early days but Meghan is not a shy young 19 year old and obviously has a mind of her own. It may be difficult to adjust to what are rather old-fashioned protocols.
My remarks about being "common" are not intended seriously btw.
My dislike of them is based primarily on the out of date institution of the RF and then that now at a time when many people in this country are really struggling to have a decent basic life they spend money so carelessly and extravagantly.
They can do so because they do not earn it like normal people and they know it will never run out.
To me it would be luxury to never worry about paying bills or finding a decent place to live.
I despise their hypocrisy.
I would not be so bothered if they were not on view all the time but they are.
I haven't liked Harry since he dressed as an SS officer for a party he thought that was funny. He seems to be quite dim and would probably struggle to work if he wasn't a member of the RF
She is what she is, but she does it with tax payer money....her security staff and homes are on us.
It is nothing to do with snobbery or skin colour. That is said to deflect the truth.
Keep Queenie but after her then the Royals should earn their keep and not just by having lunch and shaking hands.
Or they should learn to budget like most of us do.
They've just moved into the mega-renovated Frogmoor Cottage in readiness for the baby. They don't move house like the rest of us. They won't have had to lift a finger but as well as enjoying their new home Meghan is treated to an expensive 'babymoon'. for three days. They sure know how to take pampering to a whole new level.
That's true Anniebach - but given Meghan is more "celebrity" than Katherine, maybe we will find out anyway.
Just a thought.
pinkquartz - the Queen is known for her frugality! Apparently she goes around turning off lights in Buckingham Palace (that could be a bit startling for anyone reading quietly in a corner, unnoticed).
I don't think this ostentatious extravagance befits the Royal Family really; perhaps HM will 'have a word' but I doubt it will have much effect.
I am amazed how anyone could describe her maj as frugal.
Here is a woman who has lived a very long and healthy life thanks to her own private medical team. She owns priceless paintings, jewels, racehorses, houses and land. She has servants, drivers, dressers, private secretaries and crikey knows who else....all at her beck and call.
I wonder if she's ever cooked mince or a chicken and spread it into 3 meals ? Ever shopped in a charity shop and mended her own clothes? Does she sit in front of a two bar electric fire?
She is no different to all of the royals. Over privileged and as close to reality as the man in the moon.
Oh Merlotgran. I've only just caught up with this and live the way you expressed the "dolled up" issue. One of the best laughs I've had in ages. Ouch. I think most of us would have sympathy with that, no matter who the thoughts come from.
GILLYBOB It amazes me that no one complains when Lizzie gets her rises in income ...she's taking £82 MILLION this year and thats just a fraction of the true cost .Apparently this spoilt old biddy is worth that while tens of thousand sof pensioners are having benefits they worked bloody hard for are being penalised .I always said ,even as a wee girl that all senior citizens should be treated as well as Lizzie ,even if it meant sharing her millions amongst them. But hey I'm a socialist so what would I know she's probably a reincarnation of jesus Christ and thats why so many worship the old biddy!!She'd have to be to be treated like a god!!
Does any head of state live in 3 bedroomed house ?
Who suggested they should Annie?
So the alternative to several palaces etc is a 3 bedroomed house? I get so tired of these false dichotomous arguments
Why not Gilly ? Save us so much money. Windsor Castle, KP, Buck House can be turned into flats ,
Visiting heads of state can be met in a hotel suite
Any head of state ( whether royal or not) has to have an appropriate official residence to carry out their duties. A 3 bed semi would not quite cut it. It’s the extravagance that’s the issue
So it’s your suggestion then Annie well
I’m up for it, but it’s really not going to happen . Still it seems she’s got plenty “little” cottages dotted around that she could have done up instead .
Well no, the Queen has never had to worry about money - we all know that, but honestly would any of us like to have lived her life?
She may live in palaces (which incidentally she doesn't own) but her whole life has been spent in public duty, speaking to endless boring heads of state on, no doubt, incredibly tedious foreign trips.
Her life is not her own to spend as she wishes. How many of us could stand being recognised, stared at and photographed wherever we went?
She spends a lot of time at Windsor castle, yet can't just have a browse around the town or walk along the river as we can.
Immense wealth doesn't necessarily equate to contentment does it?
There are quite a few royals I have no time for (Meghan for one) but I think the queen has upheld her pledge to serve the nation admirably.
Aaah bless her she’s down to her last ....
