I feel so angry with Meghan & Harry

All the drivel about privacy and they do an interview with Oprah. I feel ashamed for Harry that he feels the need to air his dirty linen in public. What do they get from this? I have no idea. Prince Philip is in hospital and I just feel like saying shame on you both.

Presume Laura and others who have ‘fessed up’ and pleaded guilty will get a lighter sentence. Mitigating circumstances....making us laugh ?

I can assure you Smileless, when in the position I described the saggy bits tie themselves in knots automatically!!! Twice over the shoulder, round the neck and plugged in the right ear!!! ???

Smileless2012 Sat 06-Mar-21 17:14:54

I think you've miss understood Madgran it's your saggy bits you're supposed to tie knots ingrinbut well done for being able to kneel on your left knee while holding your little toe on your left foot behind your back!!!

Even if you don't manage to get your right foot behind your neck, it's still very impressive.

I feel the same starstella, I love reading all the posts. Some of the ‘regulars’ are so quick witted aren’t they? They have me in fits of giggles sometimes.

starstella Sat 06-Mar-21 16:45:19

LauraNorder. You are one of my favourites so please don't stop'.I have not been out of the house[ apart for medical appointments] since last March.GN keeps me sane.

I'm still trying to get my right foot behind my neck whilst kneeling on my left knee and holding on to my little toe on my left foot behind my back.

This tying in knots is a very difficult skill to learn but its worth it if I can join the SAGGIES!

LauraNorder Sat 06-Mar-21 16:30:27

Starstella, that’s nice of you to say. I do sometimes think I’ve been on too much and should give it a rest, then I think again and I just can’t help myself.
Takes all sorts heh.

SecondhandRose
I apologise too and to cheer you up I will knit you some little Harry and Meghan dolls.

Unless you'd prefer some socks. smile

If you wear a tiara with your bedsocks then you're in!
Age no bar.

I have to wonder how many people here are projecting their issues with their own DILs and daughters - the level of personal affront here is really odd.

No. I may feel exactly the same for any elderly grandparents, one ill, who were facing something similar even if not so publically.

But I am very thankful that DD did not marry Harry!

Callistemon Sat 06-Mar-21 16:06:45

I can lend you an old tiara, Maggiemaybe, we have trunks full of them.
Perhaps we should sell some to mend the leaky roof on our stately pile of rubbish.

starstella Sat 06-Mar-21 16:05:34

Well I don't post often but I don't think others post too much.I enjoy all the different personalities on here.My main entertainment for the day and I have loved this one xx

Maggiemaybe Sat 06-Mar-21 15:19:28

Well I had aspirations to be a Royal Gran, but I’ve no tiara, and no granddaughter to nick one from. I’ve had a word with the grandsons though. And I reckon you’ll have to let me join the club now I’ve got a Golden Snitch.

Smileless2012 Sat 06-Mar-21 14:39:39

Not the stays Nell anything but the stays!!!

Smileless2012 Sat 06-Mar-21 14:38:57

LauraNorder having read your post @ 14.32 I just can't understand why anyone would take you for a disruptershock.

NellG Sat 06-Mar-21 14:37:07

Sorry secondhandrose mea culpa. I suspect this thread turned out better this way though - I am so angry with the pair I fear something will rupture before long. Probably my stays, maybe my sanity.

LauraNorder Sat 06-Mar-21 14:33:45

FannyC disrupter, moi.

Meant to add, I wish people would get more upset about the alleged antics of another senior royal rather than getting their knickers in a twist about what one other poster on here quite rightly described as a family squabble.

Too True

We don’t have a formal written constitution. And if it destroys the Royal Family, I’ll send them a thank you card.

Well said!!

And Well Said from me too

Unfortunately the nearest the SAGGIES will get to the Savoy is perhaps a cabbage each from the communal allotment, as for The Coli, that will likely be E coli from the vintage bloaters... I fear the SAGGIES are a lost cause.

Smileless2012 Sat 06-Mar-21 14:27:31

As much as once a year lemon I'm impressedgrin.

That's not fair FannyCornforth I can't think of an appropriate spirit to fill in the blankangry.

Bridgeit Sat 06-Mar-21 14:27:11

Hi SecondhandRose, funny though all the comments have been, it’s a shame your OP has been a little bit derailed, but I think you may have helped a few GNetters ,by lancing a boil of pent up frustration, so I thank you for starting a thread that has been interesting & therapeutic , plus I am sure there will be much more to come as we hear more & more from H & M?

lemongrove Sat 06-Mar-21 14:26:21

Well, it isn’t teen spirit, that’s for sure, but it could be gin.

So that's what that whiff is. I didn't like to mention it but have been wonderinggrin.

Smells like (fill in the blank) spirit
(I'm not at all witty at the moment to think of my own joke)
