I feel so angry with Meghan & Harry

All the drivel about privacy and they do an interview with Oprah. I feel ashamed for Harry that he feels the need to air his dirty linen in public. What do they get from this? I have no idea. Prince Philip is in hospital and I just feel like saying shame on you both.

Not the stays Nell anything but the stays!!!

Well I had aspirations to be a Royal Gran, but I’ve no tiara, and no granddaughter to nick one from. I’ve had a word with the grandsons though. And I reckon you’ll have to let me join the club now I’ve got a Golden Snitch.

Well I don't post often but I don't think others post too much.I enjoy all the different personalities on here.My main entertainment for the day and I have loved this one xx

I can lend you an old tiara, Maggiemaybe, we have trunks full of them.
Perhaps we should sell some to mend the leaky roof on our stately pile of rubbish.

I have to wonder how many people here are projecting their issues with their own DILs and daughters - the level of personal affront here is really odd.

No. I may feel exactly the same for any elderly grandparents, one ill, who were facing something similar even if not so publically.

But I am very thankful that DD did not marry Harry!

If you wear a tiara with your bedsocks then you're in!
Age no bar.

I apologise too and to cheer you up I will knit you some little Harry and Meghan dolls.

Unless you'd prefer some socks. smile

Starstella, that’s nice of you to say. I do sometimes think I’ve been on too much and should give it a rest, then I think again and I just can’t help myself.
Takes all sorts heh.

I'm still trying to get my right foot behind my neck whilst kneeling on my left knee and holding on to my little toe on my left foot behind my back.

This tying in knots is a very difficult skill to learn but its worth it if I can join the SAGGIES!

starstella Sat 06-Mar-21 16:45:19

LauraNorder. You are one of my favourites so please don't stop'.I have not been out of the house[ apart for medical appointments] since last March.GN keeps me sane.

I feel the same starstella, I love reading all the posts. Some of the ‘regulars’ are so quick witted aren’t they? They have me in fits of giggles sometimes.

Smileless2012 Sat 06-Mar-21 17:14:54

I think you've miss understood Madgran it's your saggy bits you're supposed to tie knots ingrinbut well done for being able to kneel on your left knee while holding your little toe on your left foot behind your back!!!

Even if you don't manage to get your right foot behind your neck, it's still very impressive.

Madgran77 Sat 06-Mar-21 19:24:00

I can assure you Smileless, when in the position I described the saggy bits tie themselves in knots automatically!!! Twice over the shoulder, round the neck and plugged in the right ear!!! ???

Gwyneth Sat 06-Mar-21 19:35:20

Presume Laura and others who have ‘fessed up’ and pleaded guilty will get a lighter sentence. Mitigating circumstances....making us laugh ?

Oh fabulous, Callistemon. Though I am currently binge watching series 4 of The Crown and should make it clear that I am now accustomed to the very best. So none of those cardboard ones with the fruit gums stuck on, if you please.

LauraNorder Sat 06-Mar-21 19:44:48

Aw guys blush

LauraNorder Sat 06-Mar-21 19:46:34

Callistemon will have eaten all the fruit gums so don’t worry Maggiemaybe.

Smileless2012 Sat 06-Mar-21 20:01:49

Just think it would have been easier to knot the saggy bits Madgran but you go girlgrin.

I'm all for mitigating circumstances Gwyneth.

No Callistemon wouldn't do that Laura she's too much of a lady.

As I've turned down my interview with Oprah, realising my loyalties are with the RG I'm allowed to keep my tiara; trisher said so, so you can borrow mine Maggiemaybe.

Gwyneth Sat 06-Mar-21 20:18:09

Or mine maggiemaybe when I rescue it from the corgis. Can’t vouch for what state it will be in after the new pups have been playing tug of war with it though.

As if, Maggiemaybe! shock

They are real cut and paste. I'll have you know I am very well-heeled because I can turn a heel in a sock as well as HM! She taught me well.

Mr C will have eaten them all before I got there.

Gwyneth Sat 06-Mar-21 20:21:09

What’s wrong with fruit gums love a good chew!

Callistemon Sat 06-Mar-21 20:41:09

I'm a chocolate and fudge person myself!! grin

Namsnanny

No need for apologies everyone, I was just doing the same thing, and voicing my opinion!

EllianneIve got some lovely cream cashmere with a subtle fleck of silver running through it. Does that fit the bill? After all we dont want it to clash with the tiara do we?

Perfect Namsnanny, thank you.
Any chance anyone could also make me a jewelled necklace out of those love hearts with messages on? Like:
Be kind
You are strong
You are loved

Only just reading this thread and laughing in my bed. So going back to the pjs my trousers legs are always up round my knees and the front waist twists round to the back. Can I be considered to join the inner sanctum? grin
