They don't call the company Dippy D for nothing! ?
However, Hermes are just as bad here, popping a card through the letter box when I'm in, and in my previous house, putting my goods in the wheelie bin.

Our house is not easy to find but delivery people have had no trouble finding us since we started giving them our door's whatthreewords location.

A few weeks ago my grandson asked if I could go to his house to wait for a DPd delivery Iwent be fore the allotted time and sat by the front window They limp ve on a main road
After about an hour and a half I heard the beep beep beep of something reversing I looked up and there was the DPd van backing to straight outside the house I got up to go to the front door but no one there as I looked out the van just drove off without the driver ever getting out the van
I went on the tracking app and it said Driver could not find house The stupid bloke was sat straight outside it and the house number is very clear to see from where he was sitting

Hermes always leave parcels for my DD right at the end of her very long lane. They send a photo but it takes her at least 15 mins to walk down. Just laziness in this case. Luckily so far nothing has gone missing but two things have been ruined by rain .

I sympathise. Some years ago I had confirmation that a parcel had been delivered, accompanied by a photo showing it sitting outside a neighbour's door. Assuming that your house is well signed, even in darkness, no it isn't acceptable. The various couriers are only as good as their local employees.

I subscribe to a monthly fishbox. Today is delivery day, and I had a message to say that it had been delivered to my porch.
My husband and I were sitting in our lounge and neither of us heard anyone at the door.
I looked at the photo to see where he had left it. We didn't recognise the place, a wall and a flat surface.
DH went out to scout the neighbourhood. He found our fish round the back of the house next door on top of a bin.
This is a package of perishable goods. Wouldn't you think that he would make more of an effort to find the right house?
Since I started getting the fishbox it's only once been delivered to me personally.
I have made arrangements for DPD to call me tomorrow as this is unacceptable.
Okay, rant over. Thank you.
