I think more posters read chat and comment more, so more will see it.

Speed reading at a glance you sound to have had an exciting week😃 I just can’t properly read a very long densely packed post tho.Ask GNHQ to move this to chat?

You should take a look at the AIBU on mumsnet - now on there there are plenty of posts that I wonder why they’ve been posted on AIBU.
However, I’m with MissAdventure here - it really doesn’t matter.
Anyway, NanaTuesday, that’s certainly been an eventful few days, positively exhausting 😅, you’ll be glad to be back home for a rest.

Typo error entered on wrong forum , oh well it’s something else for GN’tters to have a moan about 👌

Why not ask to have it moved?

Blimey Nana T, I feel quite exhausted reading your whirlwind week.
Mine has been super dull but on the plus side my weight is nearer a 10 than 11.

What a week this has been 8;days really, road trips to Wales & back in 48hours ,last Friday we took off to Cardiff to see Billy Joel in his only UK show ,how fabulous was he, did anyone else attend? We went as three generations my children having listened to his music when growing up & as my husband had to stay home ( due to not being able to put our pooches in Kennels - August was booked out - lesson learnt ,book earlier ) he gave his ticket to my Granddaughter for her 18th Birthday 🎂
Tuesday, we met with my Stepson & his GF in a town some 30mins drive away , 1st off it looked empty & despite booking a week earlier ,we were informed the chef finishes service at 5pm (!) he stayed on for us & after our main course ,we were told no we wouldn’t be able to order dessert . Which in fact was going to be affogato for me & Brownies for others, no cooking required !
Then shortly into our drive home at 9pm we had a tyre that exploded on my Mini which was caused by debris from a road bollard that someone had knocked down, The car in front of us driven by an 86yearold man suffered the same fate .
Both of us has roadside recovery with the same supplier ,ours arrived at 12:30am . Luckily for us we weren’t roadside for all that time as along with the other person were were able to wait it out at a little independent hotel that kept the doors & bar open for us also allowing us to use the facilities & foyer for all that time .
As my car doesn’t have regular tyres that cost a small fortune .So it took 24hours or more to get replaced . Meaning I almost missed the meeting with my siblings for the 43rd Anniversary of our Mums passing ,which I had to drive over 100miles to the next morning.
Luckily DH said take my car, which in turn meant he had to change plans driving himself 3 hours or more to visit his own relations . He actually said he was far too tired ,especially as he should have picked his Mum up an hours drive from us at 8am !
Then best of all 18th Birthday, A level results day for my DGD all good ,Uniplace offered & accepted (1st choice ) Spent the next 36hours with DD & GDx3 celebrating & watching them get ready for the long awaited Taylor Swift Concert in London last night .
Arrived home late , thinking why is there a constant cold wind blowing in ., got home to find rear door not closed properly, actually I had opened & closed the drivers door several times while driving as that’s what I thought the issue was
This morning it took 30 mins to find DH car keys 🔑 which meant he was going to be late in leaving & arriving at his destination, turned the kitchen & lounge upside down ,emptying my bags etc as you do , then just like that ,there they were in the dogs bed of course 🤣🤣🤣 Because when I get home I always have to drop everything to let them smother me with doggy kisses 😘 And I’m always the one to say “ hang the keys up” it’s usually Dh who loses keys & backwards/ wallet on a daily basis 🤪
So today is Admin catch up day ,sending both a Thank You Card to the hotel in question & hopefully a successful claim from the appropriate highways department.
DH took his trip today left home at 6:30am , I would have loved to of gone but far too much for me after all this excitement .
So that’s been my eventful week .
