Daytime incinerating

Someone who lives close to us regularly has a day time bonfire which means due to respiratory issues we are unable to have our windows open or peg out washing as it comes in stinking of smoke. We don’t burn our rubbish but I would never light a fire until after 7pm to show consideration to my neighbourhood. There are no UK laws against lighting fires during the day so it’s a case of put up and shut up but honestly is it so difficult to think about others before oneself? AIBU or have the rights over responsibility brigade won the day! This is probably the straw that broke the camel’s back but as a person who tries hard to live in harmony with my community I find the antics of some folk quite frustrating!

Unlike us! We bought an incinerator about six months ago, (tin dustbin thing) and have never used it. It always seems too wet, too windy, too nice a day to spoil for neighbours, a weekend, a bank holiday, too early, too late etc. etc. We will find the right moment soon, I am sure!

Why they doing it so frequently? That’s odd ? We do burn waste , we have today at the allotment . It’s same as bbq. If at home I tell the neighbour. But no I think it’s fairly standard as long as it’s not dangerous gases . But every day ? That’s a bit much
