My niece is getting a dachshund puppy, so I've knitted this for her for Christmas...

soontobe Sat 07-Nov-15 10:27:51

aw. So cute!
What a lovely thing to do smile

rosesarered Sat 07-Nov-15 10:32:19

Please knit one for all of us! smile

I like the sausage dog that's on with the breaks in cricket on tv who says "tea? Well, just a slice of fruitcake for me"

granjura Sat 07-Nov-15 10:54:41

We have adopted our DD2's sausage dog- now 16 blind, and snoring next to me on settee. Could I possibly have the pattern please? He is still very happy, but at 16, diabetic and blind, we won't have him for very much longer- Slinky has been such a good friend.

Bug180 Sat 07-Nov-15 15:01:12

Thanks for nice replies, here is the pattern, let me know if any of it not clear enough.

granjura Sat 07-Nov-15 15:42:19

So kind- but I just don't seem to be able to enlarge it and can't read it clearly, sorry. Our grand-daughter just loves Slinky and would adore one of those.

Indinana Sat 07-Nov-15 15:54:58

What a lovely little dog! Your niece will adore it, I'm sure.

Morning Bug180. I saw that you posted a picture of the sausage dog pattern, but can't make it out. Is it possible to send me a copy through PM? If so very many thanks. My grandneice has a tiny new dog, and would love one that didn't chew everything in sight.

rubysong Thu 19-Nov-15 22:24:33

What a lovely little dog. Make sure the real puppy doesn't get it!

Morning Bug 180. As I have now finished my little dachshund, I thought you might like to see him/her, although perhaps the legs could have done with a bit more stuffing. Thank you for the pattern

Iam64 Mon 30-Nov-15 19:55:19

Fabulous, I love it

rosequartz Mon 30-Nov-15 20:09:34

Well done Bug180 that took some doing!

(unless you pasted and copied of course grin)

He is very cute, just wondering if DGD2 would like him
Must finish her cardie first though.

Anniebach Mon 30-Nov-15 22:44:09

So sweet
