Knitted baby jumper

My friend's daughter had a baby back in May this year and she asked me to knit some jumpers for him. I was chuffed to bits as I love knitting and my kids (2) never wanted anything for their children. They preferred designer stuff at a daft price whereas my mam always knitted for me and my children and I did as well. So far this is the fourth jumper and I am really pleased with this one. It is from an old pattern which I have had for years.

It was another Gransnetter (can't remember who - sorry) who gave me link to nice picture jumpers from Linda's designs. The site has moved and the patterns are now available from: www.etsy.com/uk/shop/KnitaPattern - they're not free, but good range if you have grandchildren into diggers or animals!

Harris grin it's my tranquilizer too! I say I am doing mindfulness.

Pic attached is my current project, a mitred square blanket using up my stash.

Gorgeous jumpers! I’m full of admiration - that sort of pattern is beyond me.

This is a old thread and I haven't seen whywhywhy around recently. However, she sent me the pattern and I knitted it in yellow with black cats. If anyone wants that cat pattern, PM me and I can send it.

Oh, that's lovely. I tried that pattern but I'm not very good at knitting - the jumper just wasn't working so I changed it into a mini-blanket for my cats.

That worked our very well CatsCatsCats smile

That's kind Farmor

I used to knit jumpers like that for the DC but no-one would wear one now, even the DGC are too old.

I expect whywhywhy's DGS has grown out of his!
