Crochet advice.

It's been many years since I crocheted. But I now want to crochet some snowflkes. The pattern suggests Coats Pellicano.
I've seen some Anchor Pellicano on sale.
I'm assuming these are both the same ply, yes?

If they are both size 5 then they will both be the same.

It's years since I made anything with crochet cotton so fine. I used to make lace doilies, but they have fallen out of fashion these days.
