After a couple of minor adjustments he’ll probably go on eBay tomorrow, all proceeds to Prostate Cancer UK.

He’s not as elegant as the chap posted by Jane10 before - I think his maker must have elongated the pattern- but I’m quite fond of him.

Well done Witzend! And a worthy cause for the fund raising too! ?

He is wonderful. Well Done

Parsley3 Mon 16-Nov-20 20:12:26

Well a true Scotsman wouldn’t wear breeks under a kilt so well done for being authentic.

Jaxjacky Mon 16-Nov-20 18:38:54

How clever Witzend so much patience ??

Grannynannywanny Mon 16-Nov-20 18:27:41

Squiffy you read my mind?

Spinnaker Mon 16-Nov-20 18:25:45

I'd settle for Oor Wullie grin

toscalily Mon 16-Nov-20 18:21:02

Grand looking chap in his kilt with quite long bagpipes. smile

Witzend Mon 16-Nov-20 18:20:39

Well, I did think of Big Willie McSomething or other, but that’s rather OTT, so maybe I’ll just call him Hamish the cheeky bagpiper. Not sure he looks like a Hamish, but I’ve always liked it.
Or another decidedly Scottish name - what does he look like? I think he looks like a Rufus, but I don’t think that’s especially Scottish, is it?

Squiffy Mon 16-Nov-20 18:14:25

Grannynannywanny I think the norty step would be overflowing! wink

Grannynannywanny Mon 16-Nov-20 18:09:16

Well done Witzend, I love it!
Has he got a name? Maybe you should ask for suggestions on here. I think there will be plenty of fun suggestions.

fevertree Mon 16-Nov-20 18:06:29

Witzend that is a indeed a worthy cause, and he could make a lot of money, being such a handsome specimen smile

Kittye Mon 16-Nov-20 17:58:46

Lona indeed ?

Kittye Mon 16-Nov-20 17:58:05

Blossoming Mon 16-Nov-20 17:47:18

Lona Mon 16-Nov-20 17:37:55

But why would he want to? wink

downtoearth Mon 16-Nov-20 17:21:33

Can nearly tuck it in his socks grin

Jane10 Mon 16-Nov-20 17:18:46

Well gosh. What a, er talented chap!! Knee length. Blimey.
Well done Witzend!

FannyCornforth Mon 16-Nov-20 17:11:11

At auction for charity I'd pay £50 plus

FannyCornforth Mon 16-Nov-20 17:08:55

Joking aside - you've done a beautiful job there, well done, it's fabulous.
If I knew someone who it would be a good gift for I would happily pay £30+.

Sar53 Mon 16-Nov-20 17:02:37

Love it ???

Witzend Mon 16-Nov-20 17:02:21

He’s got very short legs! But that’s down to Jean Greenhowe’s pattern - she wasn’t thinking of cheeky extras!

@fevertree, I was thinking of auctioning him, albeit with a fairly low reserve.

We’ve lost 3 good friends to prostate cancer, and a relative plus another friend have it, so fingers crossed he’ll raise more than a couple of fivers.

Pittcity Mon 16-Nov-20 16:58:53

?????

Beechnut Mon 16-Nov-20 16:57:25

Somethings knee length ?
