I have just finished this corner to corner baby blanket for a friend’s daughter’s new baby. Using all odd bits of DK baby wool from my stash. Thank you for looking.
Really beautiful work - I love the colour combinations especially as you have used bits from your stash. I just cannot master corner to corner. Maybe one day.
Thank you. I have some pink, purple and red to start another one. Also making some little jumpers for my friend to take to her church fair this Christmas. I’ll post the photos once finished. I am in a creative mood and besides - what would I be doing on a wet day? Housework? Stay safe. ?
Lovely and so creative. We made crochet throws for our beds with begged and borrowed wool as students to hide the grotty bedding that was issued. I did do an Afghan crochet blanket for a baby and found the zig zag very hard until I got the hang of it. The pompoms on the corners took ages as I used the proper plastic formers then decided not to sew them on as the baby night choke on them
