Thank you for the advice. I hoped someone might have had a tried and tested pattern that they have used before.

Maybe post a pic of the kind of thing you are looking for Purplepixie? 'Easy DK cardigan' could mean a multitude of styles.

Take a look at TinCanKnits pattern Harvest which is a top down no-sew raglan cardigan with lots of sizes from infant to large adult. It can be adapted to add buttons.

Just to add, I have knitted several of these as well as their Flax crew-neck raglan sweaters so tried and tested.

It is called FERN by Sue Hanmore
Although I use DK yarn and not alpaca , and I have only done the striped edges once.

Lovecraft have free downloadable knitting patterns, lots of choice too. I have just finished a raglan cardigan for my sister from there.

Recently had a sort out and have two patterns which might be useful to you.
One goes up to a 40” chest but the other one is a children’s one up to 7/8 years.

Hi spyder08 - thank you so much but can you post a photo on here? I also have a few patterns for DK cardigans but not the easy one I used to have. Also no thanks to the children’s one as my grand children are now older.
