I had a go at this today, having dug out my paints. I don’t think I got the meditative vibe going, but, not having painted for a long while, I had forgotten how fascinating watercolour is. Just experimenting with dry brush, wet in wet, blending and seeing the way some blues granulate as you put them on the paper was very absorbing. Even sprinkling rock salt into the paint. It’s beginning to look like a piece of modern stained glass. I think I need fewer sections though. And to make the rounded corners bigger.
