Millie22 no newsletter as such, I think it was a pop-up ad link I followed.

The bunting sounds interesting.
For the Queen's Jubilee I had some which was a set of pictures of Elizabeth 11 in every decade of her reign.
The children I look after were fascinated that they were all the same person, as they'd only ever known her as a very elderly lady.

Thank you for sharing! I may give him a go I think heโ€™s cute - and have a wee granddaughter who thoroughly loves her knitted Dollies

I guess you have the Prima newsletter as I do.

In the May magazine that I've just been sent is a crochet pattern for coronation bunting. It looks really nice.

I've knitted fairy dolls and snow people but dislike sewing up small fiddly things!
Loved seeing the link but I will probably not knit him, V3ra.

I knitted a very large Postman Pat once for a DD, he was lovely and I wish we'd kept him.

I'm glad people have enjoyed the King Charles Doll link!
I've enjoyed reading all your comments and it would be great to see a photo if anyone knits him ๐Ÿ˜Š

Now I have to google Sara Lund to see how your stuffie compares ๐Ÿคฃ

I even attempted the mini fair Isle yoke on the sweater ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜‡

That is just mind blowing! There is evidence of incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail. A devoted follower of King Charles would really adore receiving something like this as a gift.

Sorry, can't resist "Well that's him well and truly stuffed".
Especially if I tried to knit it.

I think someone at my craft group is knitting a King Charles.

This one has very cute ears, V3ra ๐Ÿ˜

I once knitted that detective Sara Lund from the Scandi noir series The Killing - actually I knitted two for my grown up daughters who both loved the series for Christmas.
A moment of madness. Why I ever started them I do not know but I was irrationally proud of the finished product!
Donโ€™t think Iโ€™ll repeat it, but I was tempted as a souvenir if the Coronation. Thank you OP ๐Ÿ™

He looks like heโ€™s been out in the sunshine, doing his gardening.

Maybe it's the ๐Ÿท!

I think it's thoughtful of V3ra to post this by the way.

I do knit basics some for Dementia Society but I will pass this pattern to more advanced knitters. Thanks for the link.

I like him, he's cute! Nothing like King Charles of course!

Joseanne Sun 02-Apr-23 23:47:47

He looks a bit dumpy!
